The club is proud to promote over fifteen bowling teams for both Ladies and Gentlemen. They currently play in four leagues, namely Saddleworth, Failsworth, Tameside and Chadderton. There are also the established Oldham Vets, and for the ladies, the Oldham Ladies section and Ladies Over 60s league. Keeping a close eye on the teams is the bowling committee, whose main functions are to control the fixtures, and to ensure the green is maintained all year round.

The bowling section is always keen to invite new players to the club. Some would say that crown green bowling is on only for the older generation. Not any longer. The sport is widely popular regardless of age, colour or creed !
